The idea for the Community Table was born from the various ways our community regularly congregates around an ever-growing and ever-evolving long table at The Green Bag Project on workshop days. The magic continues to co-create a sense of belonging to all those who gather – no matter how they arrived, they find themselves in communion with the table and those who seek it. Through belonging, our table grows in strength – strong enough to hold all those seated around it’s edges, connecting community through shared stories, art, meals, games, and laughter.
