Help Us Build Our

Our Care System is a localized empowerment platform,  designed together with our patron community, to bridge the gap between our community of people living homeless and the broader public.

Our aim is to fostering community mental health, by making acts of kindness, relationship-centred and value-aligned resource sharing accessible.

Our intention for this platform is to support a structure of communal interdependency. We do this by facilitating three choice pathways at the decision-making gap that we, unhoused and housed community members alike, confront daily in our shared experience: how to give and receive in alignment with our values. Our Care System supports volunteers, local businesses/organizations and members of the general public to give in a way that offers a mutual sense empowerment - making acts of kindness more accessible while supporting unhoused members to exercise their agency and have their contribution valued while receiving aid.

Our dream for our Care-Exchange System is not only to empower the broader community to practice accountable kindness, but also to empower our unhoused patrons to become our partners in care.Community care is a group project! The more people we can help become more mental health aware and skilled in how to respond in a mental health crisis, the more we spread kindness through the city.
