Find local environmental groups

Although you are going to be working on every aspect of the step by step guide at the same time, committing your local environmental groups is a good place to start. These groups will be more than willing to give advice, put you in touch with like-minded people and help you out with the rest of your to do list.

You should find three to five local environmental groups to help distribute the bags. You will be assembling a calendar of events and asking these groups to sign up to be at the events and distribute bags (Step 6). At these events they will be able to talk about their organisation, and ask for optional donations for the bags.

Go over the Environmental Group Partnership Form with them and keep in touch. There are loads of environmental groups out there, so be sure to pick the ones that are really into the project and that you think will really follow up in their promises.

Be sure to let them know about your town's blog and environmental calendar. This will be created for you as soon as you register to start a bag project. Its a great place to share info!
