Our planet is in dire crisis, and we really, really, more then ever, need to take action!
The world uses one million bags every minute. These bags, used on average for
only seven minutes, take hundreds of years to decompose, pollute our oceans
and streams, and contribute to climate change.

The Green Bag Project aims to bring critical attention to the way our everyday
habits impact the environment. We empower individuals to engage and educate
their community about their impact on the environment, employing a reusable
shopping tote as a catalyst for change.

The organization embodies the open source spirit in both mission and structure.
The Green Bag Project is a movement based on individuals  working side-by-side,
to produce enormous positive change for the world. It is the belief of the organization
that progress is made through collaboration, not hierarchy structures or ego.
